Volunteer Coaches Needed
The Hopewell Department of Recreation and Parks are seeking adults who would like to coach youth basketball or any sport. If interested, please call 541-2356 and ask for Ronnie Parker. A Criminal History Check is conducted yearly on all volunteer youth coaches.
Basketball Officials Needed

NEW - 3 On 3 Basketball League
Hopewell Recreation and Parks will be offering a 3 on 3 Basketball League this winter for kids 18 and under that are presently in High School. The league will consist of 5 players per roster. We will have a Boys, Girls, and Mixed League. Registration will start the same time as Youth Basketball Registration. For More Information please call 541-2356 and ask for Ronnie Parker.

Spring Youth Soccer Registration

The Hopewell Department of Recreation and Parks will be holding registration for youth soccer for kids ages 4 to 15 at the Hopewell Community Center. Proof of age plus parental signature are required. The following is a list of the leagues that are offered:
- U-6 Soccer League (4-5).
- U-9 Soccer League (6-7-8).
- U-13 Soccer League (9-10-11-12).
- U-16 Soccer League (13-14-15)
Registration Begins: Mon., Jan. 9, 2012.
Who: Any Youth ages 4 to 15.
Where: HCC
Cost: $20.00 residents/$25.00 non- resident if child played in the Fall 2011.
$35.00 residents/$40.00 non-resident if child did not play in the Fall 2011.
$55.00 for U-16 Team
Time: Anytime the HCC building is open.

Soccer Registration
Golf Lessons - Session 1
Jordon Point Golf Club Pro, Rick Bealert, will be the instructor. Each class will last one hour and is limited to 6 people per class and a minimum of 4 is needed to offer this class. Call 541-2356 for more information.

Knights of Columbus Free Throw contest for Boys and Girls 10-14 years old. See who can make the most free throws and become the best free throw shooter of 2012 in Hopewell.

2012 Basketball Challenge
NBA-FIT basketball skills competition that provides boys and girls, ages 9 to 14, a FREE opportunity to showcase their basketball abilities in a time-based, half-court obstacle course. See who has the best basketball skills in Hopewell.

Hopewell Senior Golf League

Jordan Point Golf club in conjunction with the City of Hopewell, Department of Recreation and Parks will continue to offer a Monday Morning Senior Golf League. NEW - Adult "Wednesday" Golf League
9-holes match play. Each team consists of two players. Teams may be made up of more than two players (many teams have three or four players due to members that may travel for their job or take vacations and are not available to play every week.), but only two players are allowed to comprise a team during any match. Each week a team competes against another team and plays for points. Participants will need to provide their own clubs and must be aware of proper golf course etiquette prior to playing.
Date: Wednesday, March 21, 2012 - Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
Time: 5:00pm.
Location: Jordan Point Golf Course.
Registration Deadline: March 9, 2012.
Fee: $20.00 Registration Fee.
Fee to Play: $11Walking/$19.00 Cart each time.

Hopewell Tennis Tournament
The City of Hopewell Department of Recreation and Parks once again will be invaded by tennis player's from the surrounding area in their quest to become No. 1 in their division. Awards will be plaques for the top two players in each category.
When: Mon. April 2, to April 20, 2012 5:00pm each day.
Where: Hopewell Community Center, and Riverside Park.
Cost: $20.00 per person/per event.
