Schools

The mission of Hopewell City Public Schools, in partnership with families and our community, is to develop students who achieve at their highest level of capability in pursuing life and career choices, enabling them to become productive and contributing members of a democratic society for the 21st century. By successfully motivating, encouraging and challenging student achievement we enhance the mind, body and spirit of our students.

Hopewell City Schools provide outstanding educational programs for approximately 4,000 students. The system is composed of three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and one learning center (Preschool – Adult).

All of our schools are 100% accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, have met adequate yearly progress (AYP) for two years running, and made AYP under No Child Left Behind for the last four years.
