Overview

The Hopewell City Marina offers a variety of amenities to meet all of your boating needs! Conveniently located on the Appomattox River, the Hopewell City Marina is only a mile away from the James River and offers some of the best fishing and recreational boating opportunities in the region. The marina has a four-lane boat ramp with floating docks, convenience store, pump-out station, large paved parking lot, open and covered slip rentals, kayak launch, fishing area, and public restrooms. Daily marina operations are managed by Fish Tales II.

River Access

The Hopewell City Marina is the city's primary river access point, providing direct access to the Appomattox River. The marina is less than a mile away from the confluence of the James and Appomattox Rivers at City Point. The marina offers a four-lane boat ramp, paved parking lot, marina store, covered and open slip rentals, pump-out station, kayak launch, and fishing area. The marina also plays host to many fishing tournaments and other special events like the Rockin' on the River concert series and Fireworks on the Appomattox. The boat ramp at the marina is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Slip Rentals

The Hopewell City Marina offers both covered and open slips for monthly rental. All slips have an electric meter connection, water supply, and secure entrance. For additional information and availability, please contact Fish Tales II.

Slips can accommodate boats over 30 feet in length and offer depths from 6 to 15 feet (tidal waters).
